So it might seem like they're working on "small stuff" like changing what they eat or doing more yoga. But for these people the small things ARE the big things because they help to create the balanced and sustainable life that allows them to really step up in greater service to the whole. And when they "fail" at acheiving the "small stuff" it really eats away at their confidence to do the bigger things they want to do.
And some of them are doing great at the everyday things, but every time they try to step into something bigger, like a major project, or the work their heart is longing to do, Whoa!, up comes the resistance. What makes it even harder, is how aware they already are. They can see their patterns clearly and just don't understand why that awareness isn't enough to change them.
What kinds of resistance are you experiencing now?

- Constant procrastination in specific areas of your life.
- Thoughts and feelings that seem to hold opposing views about your desire at once.
- Distractions or even major crises that arise just when you get motivated.
- Sudden changes in mood or energy level when it's time to take action.

- The only progress you make is through sheer willpower and it doesn't last
- As soon as you gain some ground you lose it again - 1 step forward, 2 steps back.
- Circumstances beyond your control seem to conspire against you - the computer crashes before you can send a vital email, etc.
- You avoid getting really clear about what you want or you stay in "someday" mode.
- You're too discouraged to even try setting goals because of past "failures".
